Off to a new job! After spending the past year and a half with Oracle, I was a victim of layoffs in the hardware division. I’ll admit, I was definitely a bit devastated. Especially after I uprooted my family from New York to Virginia to accept the position. However, that only lasted for about an hour, and I took much more positive approach.
It took me exactly one week (almost to the hour), and I had a new position with Quantum as a sales engineer. Instead of commercial accounts, this time I’ll be covering federal. Very cool stuff.
So, anyway, wish me luck as I start my new adventure tomorrow! 😉
