So there I am…3:30 in the afternoon and I nailed her with a single shot from my Savage .30-06 at 125 yards. Deadly? Yeah, I’d say so. In fact my Indian name should be, “Short Man with Big Gun.” 🙂
While it wasn’t a huge dear (about 70-lbs. or so), it was a deer nonetheless, and I’ll take it. So, Merry Christmas to me! I’ll post pics shortly.
